“This world that we live in is full of enchantment for those with eyes to see it.” And after unhurriedly entering what is Beth Mitchell‘s extravagant underwater fantasy universe, the same can be said about her ethereal sets that appear to be describing a submerged wonderland, rather than a reality built just a few feet under the water’s surface. Dreamlike, conveying tales of love, enchantment and sorrow, the shoot gathering its inspiration from “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus” makes for a striking visual journey.
