A statement that can hold its own, red is for beauty on fire and for unapologetic power, red is for artfulness and grandeur. There are no actual boundaries to what red can express, no limits to the kind of reality it can majestically outline. When it comes to make-up, red is the only exclamation point one would need, the rest calling to be kept, bare, quiet, soft.
