It seems strange to think it now, but there was a time when leather harnesses and metal cuffs were styling fodder found only deep underground; when mainstream magazines didn’t consider fetish and high fashion utterable in the same breath. Those days are behind us, and with each new interpretation of bondage leather and delicate lace that reaches our eyes comes a renewed gratitude for the fact.
The latest obsession comes from the lens of Koray Parlak, with combinations of leather, lace and legs styled by Hafize Celikturk in dark colours and arresting cuts. Messy haired and wild-eyed, model Ivana Stompfova reminds us yet again of why the combination of those things is such a good one.
